Prabowo: I Don't Work with a Target of Hundreds of Days

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President has stressed that he does not set a target for his government's achievements within a certain timeframe, such as "hundreds of days" or "months". However, he expressed pride in the hard work and dedication demonstrated by his ministers and cabinet officials during the first 100 days of his administration.

“I never work with a target of hundreds of days or months. But in any case, [these 100 days] are a milestone, a step that we have completed,” he said at the opening of a cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. 

The President praised the strong teamwork and dedication exhibited by the Red and White Cabinet. He acknowledged that challenges remain, but he expressed confidence in the ability of his ministers and staff to effectively address these issues. 

“That's what I feel and I want to thank you all,” said the General Chair of the Gerindra Party.

Vice President Raka and several ministers and heads of government institutions were also present at the meeting.

Previously, the Center of Economic and Law Studies (Celios) conducted a performance evaluation of the first 100 days of the Prabowo-Gibran administration. Celios awarded President Prabowo a score of 5 out of 10 for his performance during this period. The evaluation also yielded low scores for VP Gibran with a score of 3 out of 10.

This study employed an expert judgment-based survey, distinct from traditional surveys that rely on public opinion. The panel of experts comprised 95 journalists from 44 reputable media outlets.
