TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The free program (CKG) at public health centers (Puskesmas) and designated clinics for individuals on their birthdays officially commenced on February 10, 2025.

According to the Minister of Health's Decree Number HK.01.07/MENKES/33/2025 concerning Technical Instructions for the Free Birthday Health Examination, the available services are tailored to specific age groups.

Here is a breakdown of the free health screenings available through the CKG program, categorized by age group, as reported by Antara:

Infants (0-4 years)

- Congenital hypothyroidism

- Critical congenital heart disease

- Congenital adrenal hyperplasia

- G6PD deficiency

- Growth and development monitoring 

- Hearing and vision screening

- Dental and oral health check

- Thalassemia

- Liver function examination

Adolescents (7-17 years)

- Hearing and vision screening

- Dental and oral health

- Thalassemia and anemia detection 

- Monitoring for obesity, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension

- Lung and fitness examination

- Mental health

- Liver function examination

Adults (18-39 years)

- Hearing and vision screening

- Dental and oral health check

- Monitoring of obesity, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension

- Heart and stroke risk detection 

- Chronic kidney and lung disease examination

- Mental health and fitness assessment

- Breast and cervical cancer screening

- Liver function and osteoporosis examination

Adults (40-59 years)

- Hearing and vision screening

- Dental and oral health

- Monitoring for obesity, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension

- Cholesterol and stroke risk examination

- Heart, chronic kidney disease, and lung disease risk detection 

- Mental health, fitness, and liver function assessment

- Breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening

- Osteoporosis detection

Elderly (60 years and above)

- Hearing and vision screening

- Dental and oral health

- Monitoring for obesity, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension

- Cholesterol and stroke risk examination

- Heart, chronic kidney disease, and lung disease risk detection 

- Mental health, fitness, and liver function assessment

- Breast, cervical, colorectal, and geriatric cancer screening

- Osteoporosis detection

To access the free health screening, people only need to register through the SATUSEHAT Mobile (SSM) application. Following registration, users will receive a notification for a free health check ticket via WhatsApp on D-30, D-7, D-1, and on their birthday.

Seven days before their birthday (D-7), people should complete a self-screening questionnaire. The health check ticket can then be used at first-level health facilities or primary healthcare facilities (FKTP) that partner with the Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) within 30 days after the birthday or D+30.
